Delete your account & data
This page explains how to permanently delete your Amorelle account and everything stored under it. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Delete from inside the app
This is the fastest way and works on both iOS and Android:
- Open Amorelle.
- Go to Settings (or your Profile).
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted.

If you can’t open the app, verify your account email below and delete it from here.
Enter the email address on your Amorelle account. We'll send a 6-digit code to verify it's you.
Can’t use the app or this form? Email [email protected] from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We honor emailed deletion requests within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes all data associated with it, including:
- Your messages, photos, and voice notes
- Shared moments, albums, and shared notes
- Memory-map pins and places
- Mood check-ins
- Love letters, vows, and quiz responses
- Your couple pairing (your partner is notified that you left)
- Your profile, account record, and login email from authentication
Shared content is stored once per couple. When you delete your account, your access to it ends and your personal copies are removed; your partner can independently delete their own account at any time.
What we keep, and for how long
- Encrypted backups are purged within 30 days of deletion.
- Purchase receipts (App Store / Play Store) are retained as required by tax law (up to 7 years). These contain no message content.
- A minimal deletion audit record (an internal user id only, no personal content) is kept to confirm the request was honored.
Amorelle’s data is stored with Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage). We do not sell your data or use your messages to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
